
Bay Ventures is a San Francisco Bay Area based company owned and operated by Barbara Jameson-Bellow, MBA of Bay Area Ventures, LLC. Barbara Jameson-Bellow is a business owner, real estate investor, writer, and art appreciator. Born and raised in Oakland, California, she was surrounded by a family of entrepreneurs, who never hesitated at the opportunity to "find a need and fill it " in very creative environments. Her formal her career began with Kaiser Permanente in medical research and information systems. After spending over 27 years in a corporate environment acquiring experience in business development, physician recruitment and teaching in the Peralta Community College District, and with the support of her husband, Cleveland Bellow, they decided to start Bay Ventures, working with small business owners and individuals in the Bay Area. They launched Bay Ventures Gallery in April of 2006. Her husband, Cleveland Bellow, was an artist and graphic designer for over 40 years. His talent was recognized at an early age and he has evolved over the years to a fine artist. His artwork has been shown nationally and internationally A product of Oakland Public Schools and residing in the Bay Area for much of his life, Cleveland has remained one of the many icons of Bay Area art and politics. "Creating a life of passion" remains a platform for Cleveland and all who meet him clearly saw his love and passion for art. On March 11, 2009, Cleveland passed away after a strong and vigilant battle with lymphoma. He will be missed by all that had the opportunity to know him. His art lives on while he is no longer here physically. "Where Business Meets Art" underscores the goal of Bay Ventures.
